LOCATION

  • 60 km away from Jakarta : 1,5 hour’s drive away
  • About 25 Km from Hotel Salak : 45 minutes drive

FACILITIES 

  • 11 buildings (size:1.200 ㎡) on 2ha
  • 2 dormitories  : capacity of 100 people, with gender separation (have yet to provide lodging)
  • 2 lecture rooms : capacity of 40 people for each room (desks, chairs, blackboards, beam projector)
  • 1 canteen : capacity of 60 people at one time  (100 people in rotation)
  • Two guest houses 
  • 1 Open Hall, 200 m2

OTHER FACILITIES 

  • Trekking course : 5km long, three levels of trekking (difficult, normal, easy), a playground
  • Agroforestry : banana, coffee, cassava, resin, etc

SHORT HISTORY OF SEETF DEVELOPMENT 

May2008  MOU Signed on Hambalang project 

Jul. 2011  established ROD on Hambalang Green Partnership Model Forest

Nov. 2011  initiated the project under the supervision of  Korea-Indonesia Forest Center (KIFC)

Jul. 2012   revised ROD for enhancing the role of KIFC at 6th Korea-Indonesia Forest Forum

Jul. 2013   renamed  the project title from Hambalang to Sentul

Jul. 2013   held the opening ceremony in presence of Minister of the Korea Forest Service and Minister of Forestry of Indonesia;

Jul. 2014   RoD Signed on Development and Management of SEETF

 

 

 

MANAGEMENT

  •  SEETF  is managed by Perum Perhutani
  •  Perum Perhutani has assigned A Manager to manage SEETF, with 10 staffs.
  •  Joint Utilization of SEETF Facilities and area between KIFC and    Perum Perhutani
